イギリスピアノ

At Sprouts we teach piano in English! We teach students from age 4.

Do you know…. Piano students in the UK take an exam. In Japan, Eiken or TOEIC are well-known English tests. I have never seen a piano test in Japan though. Maybe I don’t know about it, but it seems uncommon…?!

In the UK, a lot of piano students take a piano exam. The most popular is called the ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal School of Music). They have 8 grades. Grade 1 is the first grade, and Grade 8 is the highest level. Actually, you can take this exam in Japan, but only in Tokyo!

I think taking an exam is a good motivation for students. What do you think?
